My name is Chad Smith, I'm a Cambridge University certified English teacher and native New Yorker, and I'd love to help you improve your English.

Why choose me? Well, I've been teaching English in Germany for the last 11 years and have developed sure-fire ways of helping both beginners and advanced learners sharpen their English skills and speak confidently.

Some other qualifications of mine: I have a master's degree in journalism, I'm fluent in German, and I was an English teacher for one of Hamburg's most respected language schools for several years. (So you're getting a top-level instructor at basically half the cost.) Plus, between 2018 and 2020, I wrote a monthly column for the magazine Spotlight English. The column was called "English Explained."
