Who we are: Globtrain GmbH is a dynamic company based in Berlin Schöneberg that works in the educational field, especially supporting European Bodies, schools, and institutions that promote Mobility projects in Berlin within the Erasmus+ EU Programme.

Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced freelance teacher to create and deliver a comprehensive course on Innovative Teaching Methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional and modern teaching methodologies, with a focus on integrating innovative techniques to enhance learning experiences in diverse educational contexts.
Course Objectives: The course will explore the following key themes:
• Overview of Traditional Teaching Methods: Examining methods such as Grammar-Translation, Direct Method, Natural Approach, and Suggestopedia.
• The Shift to Modern Approaches: Understanding how creative pedagogy and technology have transformed educational practices.
• Innovative Teaching Methods: Delving into specific strategies including:
o Flipped Classroom
o Inquiry-Based Learning
o Role Play
o Problem-Based Learning
o Peer Learning
o Social-Emotional Learning
o VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic)
o Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches
o Steiner Method
• Addressing Learning Challenges: Techniques for effectively teaching students with learning difficulties and disabilities such as ADHD and dyslexia.
Responsibilities:
• Design engaging and interactive course content that reflects the latest trends in innovative teaching methods.
• Deliver live sessions and workshops that encourage collaboration and active participation among educators.
• Provide guidance and support to participants in implementing these methodologies in their own teaching practices.
• Stay informed about advancements in educational pedagogy and technology to continuously enhance course material.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in teaching or educator training, with expertise in both traditional and innovative teaching methods.
• Strong knowledge of various pedagogical theories and their practical applications.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing course-related logistics.
